OUR SERVICES

At Touch Health & Fitness, our experienced healthcare practitioners utilize an integrated therapy and training approach, which incorporates manual therapy skills with high-performance, personal-training techniques and medically-supervised rehabilitation.

Chiropractors assess disorders related to the musculoskeletal and nervous system. Chiropractors at Touch utilize a manual approach to health care. During your initial visit, a thorough history and physical assessment is performed in order to arrive at a diagnosis. A comprehensive treatment plan is then discussed to optimize your health and physical function. All features of health and fitness are addressed including pain reduction/relief, improving mobility, stability and function, improving posture, and strength and conditioning.
At Touch, our physiotherapists use their education and hands-on clinical skills to diagnose and treat the cause of your injury.
Our physiotherapists use manual therapy and create a custom exercise plan to support your recovery and continued self-management in the future.

At Touch Health & Fitness, many of our practitioners use Acupuncture as a tool to treat musculoskeletal complaints. Fine needles are inserted into specific areas of the body to release trigger points, relieve pain, stimulate healing and overall well-being.

At Touch Health & Fitness, our registered massage therapists provide a variety of massage techniques to reduce pain, improve joint function, improve circulation, reduce muscular tension, and improve your overall well-being.

Concussion is caused by a traumatic head injury, affecting brain function. Side effects include, but are not limited to, headaches, concentration problems, memory, balance, and coordination. Our practitioners are trained to help with restoring these brain functions. They do an assessment of your abilities and provide you with the best course of treatment to get you feeling your best.

The definition of rehabilitation is to restore your good health through therapy and education. At Touch, we utilize an integrated and personalized active program with each and every patient.

ART® is an advanced system of diagnosis and manual treatment for soft-tissue disorders resulting from Cumulative Trauma Disorders (CTD), Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI), postural strain, sports injuries and general wear and tear. ART® is a patented, state-of-the-art soft tissue system that treats muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerve problems.

FRC is a training system and 'principle' designed to improve and maintain joint health by focusing on three main components: mobility development, joint strength, and body control. Often we find injuries happen because joints and the muscles around them were not trained or built up to sustain the forces. FRC improves your joint health and provides the tools to maintain it so that you can move with confidence.

Our staff and practitioners are experts in not only providing you with the highest quality treatment, but also in guiding you through the process and paperwork required when making an insurance claim. Custom Orthotics can help you correct and maintain proper foot alignment. If you experience pain in any of the following areas: foot, heel, calf, knee, or lower back, custom orthotics may be helpful for you.

Compression socks can improve circulation, improve swelling and aid in recovery. Good circulation is one of the most important elements of your health. This simple technology can help fight swelling and discomfort and may also reduce the risk of developing DVT (deep venous thrombosis), a clot that forms in the deep veins.

Custom braces are typically used to restrict undesired, potentially harmful motion and to allow desired motion. We carry braces and supports for several injuries including:
  • Ligamentous Knee Injuries (ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL)
  • Osteoarthritis (Knee OA)
  • Ankle Sprains
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Shoulder Dislocations
  • Tennis & golfers’ elbow
  • Various knee injuries (i.e. Runner’s knee, jumper’s knee)
Shockwave Therapy accelerates the healing process in the body by stimulating the metabolism and enhancing blood circulation to regenerate damaged tissue. Strong energy pulses are applied to the affected area. These pulses occur for short periods of time, creating micro-cavitation bubbles that expand and burst. The force created by these bubbles penetrates tissue and stimulates cells in the body that are responsible for bone and connective tissue healing.
