Musab Zulfiqar

Musab is a recent Doctor of Physiotherapy graduate from Bond University located in Gold Coast, Australia. Due to a host of injuries sustained playing football, basketball, soccer, and track and field in high school, Musab came across the field of rehabilitation and fell in love with human anatomy, biomechanics, and the science of movement. From early on Musab knew he wanted to become a physiotherapist and thus pursued a Specialized Honours Kinesiology degree from York University before going to DPT school.

Musab has a special interest in Sport Physiotherapy, Tactical Physiotherapy, and rehabilitative Pilates. During his DPT program, Musab developed a passion for working with active populations after working as an intern physio with Team Australia’s U20 rugby team as well as in Stanford University’s Department of Sports Medicine, and researching for the Tactical Research Unit.

Outside of Physiotherapy Musab’s interests include cars, motorcycles, lifting weights, running, playing basketball, doing martial arts, reading, and spending time with family or friends. Among his most valued achievements, Musab prides himself in winning his 3rd grade spelling bee contest.

Maziar graduated from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy. He prides himself on the development of continued growth and has an in-depth knowledge of a variety of treatment styles ranging from Swedish, Sports massage, Scar Tissue massage, Head & Face Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Medical Acupuncture, Myofascial Release, Remedial Exercises and Reflexology.

Maziar has extensive experience in the health care industry as a health care provider, and he uses his medical knowledge and practical applications of massage techniques to tailor to fit a patient's individual needs.

Maziar is also passionate about enhancing his knowledge in the medical field and is currently studying towards a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Osteopathy and a Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Medicine.

Yannicca completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto, majoring in Human Biology and Psychology. She continued her post graduate education in England and received a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy at York St John University.

Yannicca’s clinical practice began in England where she completed a variety of work rotations specialising in rehabilitation with different population groups. She has a keen interest in Sport and Neurorehabilitation.

“I strongly believe that everyone is in control of their own health and rehabilitation process. I enjoy working with people to help each individual better understand how their body works and how to journey to better themselves.”

Yimo completed his Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University, where he completed placements in orthopedic, stroke rehabilitation, and ICU settings. Before that, he did his Bachelor of Medical Science (Honors Specialization Physiology) at Western University.

His goal is to help you overcome your injuries, both physically and mentally. Yimo personally believes that our injuries are learning experiences in disguise, because they teach us how to be resilient and take care of our bodies. He uses an active approach to rehabilitation, combining targeted exercise with manual therapy. Ultimately, he wants to teach you to move better and stronger, so that you confidently return to doing what you love.

When Yimo is not working, he loves to lift weights, play basketball, rock climb, and go fishing!

Keisha's studies and qualifications range from Swedish massage, Sports massage, Thai massage, Reflexology, Deep tissue massage, Aromatherapy massage, Pregnancy massage, Babies and Infant massage.

Keisha started practicing in 2009. After graduating ICT Kikkawa college in 2008 she had to take a year off to recover from a motor vehicle accident which happened just before her graduation. With all the changes and adjusting to her body with the reaction to tremendous pain, she gained first hand knowledge of how pain impacts daily living. Keisha decided not to give up on her career in the profession that she fell in love with but choose self care over all with all hopes of starting her practice as soon as she had recovered.

Keisha worked in the clinic and spa setting for the past 10+ years. She is compassionate and caring in her practice while teaching her clients self-care for each individual needs. Keisha is proud to work together with clients in getting relief, understand their muscles and set goals for bettering their health by decreasing their pain.

In her spare time Keisha likes to watch movies, she has a soft heart for romance, avid traveller and collects souvenirs which she hides from everyone. She loves sports and calls herself a nerd.

She is the clinic manager at Touch and works part time as an aesthetic nurse.

Kali has always enjoyed physical fitness and has competed nationally in bikini bodybuilding and has trained in MMA & WWE wrestling. Kali became certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association in 2016 and went on to complete her Trigger Point Therapy certification, Pilates mat certification, and Kettlebell certification courses. Dr. Vicko Ma is a graduate of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He received his Bachelor of Science with Specialization in Biology from Queen’s University. He was introduced to chiropractic after injuring his back while competing in high school volleyball. He was curious with how his injury happened and how to prevent future episodes so he can continue to compete. His movement-based approach to treatment follows this curiosity by thoroughly assessing for the cause of your injury, integrating restorative movements, joint mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, medical acupuncture (McMaster University) to help you recover, and building strength and mobility to keep you injury-free.

Marco completed the University of Calgary/Laval certification course on Concussion: Prevention, detection and management.  Marco also completed the Best Practices in Concussion Management by SHIFT Concussion.Marco has also completed the Level 1 Graston Technique course, which utilizes instrument-assistive devices for soft tissue injuries. Dr. Tocco holds a certificate in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture for health professionals from McMaster University. Marco is also recognized by the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) as a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP).
